Taco Bell Launch Date in York Confirmed for Next Week

The first Taco Bell in York includes a drive-thru at Clifton Moor.

York's newest restaurant is gearing up for launch at 11am on 19th December.

Taco Bell, famous worldwide for its Mexican-inspired cuisine, is making final preparations for the public opening of its first store in the city next Tuesday. The doors will open at 11am, and if you're one of the first 100 customers through the door, you'll even win a free exclusive Taco Bell t-shirt.

VIPs will also be getting an early taste of what the restaurant has to offer at a special invitation-only opening party this Friday.

The store, which is based on Monks Cross Drive, will be offering people the choice of dining in, taking out, or for really speedy food, you can use their drive-thru service!

Taco Bell is bringing its Live Más philosophy to York (a motto which literally means 'live more'), and say the launch in York is part of their "mission to share craveable, affordable and delicious food with fans since our first store opened in California in 1962."

Their iconic tastes and flavours include the legendary Crunchwrap Supreme, quesadillas, burritos and their world-famous tacos of course! And for dessert, those with a sweet tooth won’t be able to resist the Chocodilla: a grilled, soft flour tortilla filled with warm, melted chocolate chips. Or why not try their sinfully moreish churros, we challenge you to just eat one helping!

And while you can’t beat a taco and a Mexican beer, their Freeze options and free-refill soft drinks will be available too. Our top tip for first time visitors? Try the Big Bell box for a Fajita Burrito, a taco of your choice, a regular side, churros and a drink. It’s everything you need to complete your Taco Bell initiation!
