10 Things to do this Easter in North Yorkshire

Here's a guide of fun things for the whole family to do...

The Easter holidays are nearly here, and that means there is lots of family fun to be had across North Yorkshire. Whether you want to take part in some fun Easter crafts, explore the Yorkshire outdoors or go on an Easter adventure there is something for everybody to enjoy!

1. Flamingo Land fully opens for 2018

Flamingo Land opens daily from the 24th March and there is plenty of fun to be had with during the Easter Holidays too!

Join the Easter Egg Hunt in Dino Dig from the 30th March - 15th April where you can win a free egg-themed tasty treat and every day of the Easter Holiday you can join in with all the fun on their zoo trail! Plus, on the 31st March you can meet Peppa Pig and George at Flamingo Land too!

2. Monks Cross Easter Eggstravaganza

Come and join in with all the Easter fun at Monks Cross on Saturday 31st March from 11am - 4pm! 

There will be lots of easter fun activities from creating your own craft bunny ears, interactive science activities and the chance to win lots of chocolate goodies on the easter egg hunt round the centre. Plus, there will be the chance to meet the Minster Monster and win lots of fun prizes too!

3. Newby Hall Easter Family Fun Days

Celebrate Easter with the whole family at Newby Hall's fantastic family fun days!

There will be the chance to meet the Easter Bunny and his friends and help them solve the clues around the Woodland walk... where there will be a chocolate reward to find!

4. Stockeld Park Easter Adventure

There is lots of fun to be had for the whole family from the 28th March - 16th April at Stockeld's Park Easter Adventure.

The kids will love meeting the Easter bunny, joining in on the eggsplorers egg hunt, making chocolate and taking part in the easter bonnet parade. Plus, there will be all the usual Stockeld Park fun for the family to enjoy too!

5. York Easter Family Festival

The York Easter Family Festival is back from the 29th March - 2nd April with lots of fun to be had for the whole family.

Explore the historic streets of York and find the hidden Easter Bunnies, get up close and personal with the animals at the petting farm, enjoy the brand new Easter Panto and much more. Plus, York's Chocolate Festival is back too - and it's bigger and better than ever!

6. Piglets Adventure Farm Easter Egg-stravaganza

Piglets easter egg-stravaganza is back for 2018!

There will be lots of eggciting activities for the whole family to enjoy from lamb bottle feeding, baby chicks to see, tractor trailer rides and much more. Plus, from the 24th March - 15th April there will an easter egg hunt where the kids can receive a special treat too!

7. Castle Howard Easter Activities

Castle Howard is going to be full of great easter fun from the 24th March - 15th April.

Explore the beautiful gardens on the Easter Egg Hunt, take part in lots of fun Easter crafts and enjoy the family magic workshops and magic show by WonderPhil. Plus, if you want to do something extra special Castle Howard are offering a special Easter Afternoon Tea too!

8. A cracking chocolate adventure at York Chocolate Storymoveme

York Chocolate Story's Cracking Chocolate Adventure promises to be an unforgettable experience this Easter!

From the 30th March - 7th April children will join Gr-egg and Yolko as they try to fix Gre-ggs big mistake of losing all the Easter Eggs. There will games, easter egg hunts, lots of fun and of course chocolate!

9. The Treasurer's House Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt

The Treasurer's House will be holding it's annual Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt for 2018 which is guaranteed to be a great fun day out!

The kids will love exploring the house by following the easter bunny's clues to help them find their delicious chocolate treat. Plus, as well as a fantastic egg hunt you can enjoy some great outdoor games as well as making some easter bonnets too!

10. Easter Fun Beetle Bank Farm

There is lots of great farm yard fun that the whole family will enjoy this Easter at Beetle Bank Farm from the 30th March - 8th April.

Join the easter egg hunt around the farm to win a special treat from the easter bunny, create an easter bonnet, help name the recent litter of piglets, bottle feed the baby lambs and meet a whole range of cute baby animals too! Plus, you might even get to see some baby chicks hatching in their hatchery too!
