Plans to ease Congestion in York

Improvements to Blossom Street in York are up for discussion later.

Proposals to improve one of the main gateways into York City Centre will be discussed by the Council later.

The plans centre on the Blossom Street, Queen Street, Micklegate and Nunnery Lane junction.

The initiative is part of the Local Transport Plan II which aims to promote more sustainable forms of transport such as walking and cycling.
