North Yorkshire MP survives de-selection vote

TORY MP Anne McIntosh has survived an attempt to deselect her.

Vale of York MP Anne McIntosh lives to fight another election.

She faced de-selection  - at a meeting of the Thirsk and Malton Conservative Association last night.

Sources blamed a breakdown in relations with senior constituency officials.

But Ms McIntosh stand in next years election.
