The music legend has been announced as the third headline act for this year's music racedays, he'll perform on Friday 27th July.
Sir Tom Jones is returning to York Racecourse this summer.
The music legend thrilled thousands of fans there back in 2015, and will perform again on Friday 27th July.
As revealed with Ben & Roxy on Minster FM this morning, he's the third and final headline music act to be announced for this year, with Paloma Faith and Boyzone already confirmed.
After more than fifty years of success, Sir Tom's live performances still enthral huge crowds, and his most recent albums Long Lost Suitcase and Spirit in the Room received rave reviews.
Internationally loved for hits such as Delilah, Kiss & What's New Pussycat, he remains an artist with a true rhythm and blues soul.
Sir Tom Jones said:
"The York races crowd were tremendous on my last visit, I've always loved outdoor shows and it's always lovely to be asked back, we're going to have some fun.”
James Brennan, Head of Marketing and Sponsorship at York Racecourse said:
“Everyone at the course has really special memories of the last gig Sir Tom did for us, it gives us something to look forward to."
