Man mugged in Selby

Two teenagers arrested and released on bail

A man's been mugged just off Abbey Walk in Selby in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The 31 year old was pulled into an alley-way around the corner from Owens Bar by two men.

He was pushed to the ground, suffering a minor head injury, and had his wallet, mobile phone and cigarettes taken.

Two men, aged 17 and 18, were arrested shortly afterward when Selby's Night Marshals pursued and stopped them.

They've now been released on bail.
