Jewellery theft in Thirsk

Police release CCTV of suspect

An entire tray of gold chains has been stolen from Market Cross Jewellers in Thirsk.

The theft occurred on Friday the 7th of August when a man entered the shop in the market place.

He asked to view some items locked display cabinet and when shown them grabbed the tray and ran out of the shop.

The following day the same man entered Millgate Jewellers in Thirsk but on this occasion the staff member was suspicious.
