York City announce pre-season schedule

Details of further home and away friendlies and ticketing arrangements will be announced in the coming weeks.

York City can now announce the first portion of our pre-season schedule ahead of the 2017-18 season in the National League North.

Three friendlies will be taking place at Bootham Crescent in July, and these are as follows:

On Wednesday July 12th at 7.00pm, League One Play-Off semi-finalists Scunthorpe United will be welcomed to North Yorkshire to take on the Minstermen.

Next, on Tuesday July 18th, 1995-96 Premier League Champions Blackburn Rovers will be playing at Bootham Crescent at 7.30pm.

Finally, England's oldest Football League club, Notts County, will be making the journey north to play City on Saturday July 29th, with kick-off at 3.00pm.
