York City's semi-final tie against Middlesbrough Under-23s in the @EmmersonUK North Riding Senior Cup will now be staged TOMORROW night (Tuesday March 6) at Bootham Crescent, kick-off 7pm.
The two clubs only confirmed the decision on Monday morning after bad weather led to the postponement of both Boro's U23 game against Wolverhampton Wanderers - which was due to be played on Monday night at AFC Telford United - and City's reserve team game against Doncaster Rovers - which was due to played tomorrow afternoon at City's Wigginton Road training ground.
The two clubs had also been discussing the possibility of staging the game next week but, following the re-scheduling of the Vanarama National League North game at Kidderminster Harriers (which is now being played on Tuesday March 13), this is no longer an option.
The club would like to apologise to supporters for the short notice in the announcement of this fixture.
Admission to the game costs £3 adults and £1 concessions
