Can you provide a home for this rescue pet?
Minster FM's Pet Of The Week with The Blue Cross, Thirsk
Here in North Yorkshire there are dozens of cats and dogs in need of a loving home. Each week we feature a pet from the Blue Cross Rehoming Centre in Thirsk who needs that forever home.
Please share this page with your friends, and together we can help find homes for abandoned pets and those whose owners are no longer able to care for them.
Introducing this week's pet who needs a home...
Reggie
"We would like to introduce to you the gorgeous Reggie, he has a few specific rehoming requirements so please read carefully before applying for him. Reggie is nervous of new people and it does take a bit of time before he can trust you, for this reason we are looking for an owner that can visit him at the centre multiple times in quick succession. Once you are one of Reggie’s friends, he is extremely loving and affectionate and will make a wonderful companion."
"Reggie is worried by dogs and other animals so will need to be the only pet in the home and will only be comfortable to going for walks where there isn’t lots of people and dogs around. When Reggie is comfortable at home, he is a fun loving, playful character who is easy going and loves long naps. He does get panicked if left alone so will need help building up to being left and an owner that’s at home most of the time initially."
"If you are looking for a little companion and think you have the time and the right home for Reggie, please fill out a form on our website."
