5 Fantastic Tadcaster Businesses

Throughout December, Minster FM has been promoting local businesses in Tadcaster as part of our year-long Love Local campaign. This month marks two years since the floods of December 2015 which cut the town in two when the bridge over the River Wharfe was severely damaged. Since the reopening of the bridge, the town has bounced back stronger and better than ever. It's a great place to visit with some brilliant independent businesses.

So please take a moment to check out five of our favourite Tadcaster businesses. Next time you're making a purchase or using a service, please consider them!

1. Allroad Autocare

Allroad Autocare is an independent Land Rover specialist. The team prides itself on being able to offer dealer facilities at a fraction of the cost, and with a friendly and efficient service. Allroad Autocare offers 18 years of combined experience, not just in the motor trade, but in the Land Rover industry. No appointment is necessary and they're open six days a week from Monday to Saturday. On Saturdays, they open at 7am.

The team can restyle and remodel, from skinfades, beard shaping to the classic comb over. Wet shaves are also available from Wednesday to Saturday. They're all friendly and love some good banter. If you haven't visited yet, come and give them a try – you won't be disappointed!

4. The Coach & Horses

The Coach & Horses is a family-friendly local pub who pride themselves on great food, great drinks and great service! They stock a huge range of beers, spirits and wines, have a brand new games room AND dogs are welcome too.

You’ll always be greeted with a smile, and made to feel welcome at The Coach & Horses. Being situated next to the bus station in Tadcaster has made the pub very popular with commuters and shoppers looking for a bite to eat, a couple of drinks or just a break from a hectic day.
