Investigations are underway after a fire at The University of York.
The North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service tweeted the following
We have sent 4 Fire Engines and an Aerial Ladder Platform to a fire in an accommodation block at @UniOfYork
Fire at @UniOfYork in the kitchen of an accommodation block. Fire crews in breathing apparatus currently tackling the fire.
Fire in @UniOfYork accommodation block now extinguished by Fire Crews from York and Acomb
