FLOODS - Peter Shilton helps to save Tadcaster Albion

Peter Shilton OBE, the former footballer, has made a generous offter to Tadcaster Albion.
He played as a goalkeeper and currently holds the record for playing more games for the England men's national football team than anyone else,
He's offering a pair of limited edition gold signed gloves to help raise cash.

Meanwhile as reported last week by Minster FM..
It will soon be 'standing only' at Tadcaster Albion after the club decided to sell its grandstand seats in a bid for survival.
100 seats are up for sale, which the club hopes to sell as a 'job lot'.
Last week Tadcaster Albion said the club's future was in doubt, after a series of flooding events, going back several years.
In recent weeks, Storm Ciara caused damage estimated at £40,000 - and that was before the club ground and pitch was flooded again by Storm Dennis.
As a result Albion is trying to raise funds, and have are appealing for donations on the Help Save Tadcaster Albion Just Giving website appeal.
