A scheme set up in York to provide free meals for vulnerable people and the NHS during lockdown, has won a national award.
The Supper Collective is run by cafes, restaurants and catering firms, along with a team of volunteers who deliver 1200 meals a week around the city.
It's won the Daily Telegraph Community Project Award.
Many of the businesses involved have had to close their doors during the Covid-19 lockdown and have turned to producing meals for people in isolation and for front-line NHS staff.
They're supported by donations from local food suppliers and by army of volunteers, many of whom cycle and drive around York delivering the meals to those in need.
One of those involved in the scheme, wedding caterer Ged Dillon, told Minster FM:
"It's lovely to be recognised along with all the independents who have been involved. It puts a cherry on the cake and it's been great to be able to focus on something positive."
The Daily Telegraph says there were 1,500 nominations for 11 categories in the awards and more than 40,000 people voted online for the winners.
