Three people involved in an accident at Grimston Bar in York

There's been an accident on the Grimston Bar roundabout in York this afternoon (Monday)

Witnesses say it involved a car and a tractor towing a trailer.

Three people were rescued from the car and were transferred to the care of the ambulance service.

There were no serious injuries. 

On Twitter Station Manager Bob Hoskins said that Acomb, Huntington and Tadcaster fire crews were at the scene.

Hydraulic cutting equipment was used to extricate the driver and passengers.
