Arrests after incident in York involving weapons

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an incident of affray in a residential area of Clifton.
The incident happened at around 6pm on 21 June 2020 at Evelyn Crescent, York, when a group of men in their twenties with bladed articles were seen chasing after some other people.
Two men have been arrested in relation to the incident and they have been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police say:
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing for information about the men involved and the items they were carrying
