A seven year old girl Malton who's been helping local people through lockdown has had her efforts destroyed by thieves.
At the start of lockdown, Edith Brannan set up a table outside her house, offering tins of food to people who couldn't make it to the local shops.
She was also collecting donations for local charities.
But now thieves have ransacked her stand and taken almost everything - including the money. They left behind some home baking but took the container it was in.
Her dad Paul told Minster FM:
"Her brother went out to check on the stand and everything had gone. It had been ransacked.
People can obviously help themselves to what is there but when people come round and completely take everything in one fell swoop, it is disheartening."
Paul says his daughter is devastated by what's happened. One of the charities she has raising money for is Ryedale Special Families, which has helped her in the past.
"I was quite annoyed and angry because my little girl who was trying to make a difference to people.
She felt that she had let the community down because everything had gone. She's really upset."
