BB gun shootings in York

Two teenagers have been shot with a BB gun in York.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the incident, which happened directly opposite the Tadcaster Road entrance to Hob Moorat approximately 1.30am on Wednesday 1st July.
Three 18 year-old men were attacked on Tadcaster Road on their way home from the Knavesmire by two young men aged between 16 and 18.
One of the 18 year-old victims was sprayed with an 'incapacitant spray' and shot with a BB gun.
The BB gun was also used on one of the other 18 year-olds.
Both men sustained bruising in the incident.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist the investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room.
