York Rescue Boat ready for the pubs reopening

York Rescue Boat says that final preparations are now in place for their response to the opening of bars and restaurants in the city (4th July)
Volunteers will be covering two shifts from 12:00 - 18:00 and then 18:00 - to as late as required.
The foot and boat patrols are being extended in length to cover more of the riverside areas.
A spokesperson said:
We have been working with North Yorkshire Police, City of York Council and other external agency’s to provide a co-ordinated response to the predicted rise in people coming into the centre of York.
