York Art Gallery and Castle Museum to reopen

York Art Gallery and York Castle Museum will reopen on August 1st.

The York Museums Trust says the Yorkshire Museum will remain closed for the time being to allow them to focus on putting in place plans to ensure the safety of our staff and visitors at the gallery and castle museum.

A spokesperson for York Museums Trust:

"We're excited to announce that York Art Gallery and York Castle Museum will reopen on August 1st.  

Details of our opening days and times, how to book tickets online and further information about your visit will be released shortly. Please follow our social media channels for the latest information."
