Teenager attacked at a bus stop in York

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred on Piccadilly, York.
It happened near the bus stops near Topshop on Piccadilly, York between 3pm and 4pm on 30 June 2020.
The incident involved a 17 year old girl being assaulted by another girl around the same age.
During the assault, the victim sustained a bleeding nose and swelling to her face and jaw.
York Police say:
We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, we are appealing for information around the members of the public who helped stop the assault occurring and assisted the victim.
