A mum from Bishop Monkton has been describing what happened in the aftermath of the suicide bombing at Manchester Arena.
Sophie Forster had been attending the Ariana Grande concert with her two daughters, Lily, 12, and Hannah who is in sixth form:
"All of a sudden you heard this bang. You just heard people screaming and running."
She described children throwing themselves down from seats in the upper tier: "People were getting trampled on and children were getting lost from their parents.
"I just said to the girls "get down to the ground, get down to the main stage, we just need to get down to the ground and get out the back entrance."
The tickets had been a surprise Christmas present.
The attacker detonated an improvised explosive device outside the venue as people were leaving.
She spoke to our sister station Stray FM:
Other worried relatives here in Yorkshire have spent the night trying to get information from friends and family who attended last night's concert.
An emergency number is available for those who are concerned about loved ones or anyone who may have been in the area - 0161 856 9400.
