YORK City have completed the signing of attacker Adriano Moke from National League rivals Boreham Wood until the end of the season.
The permanent transfer represents a return to Bootham Crescent for the 26-year-old after being part of the side which gained promotion from the fifth tier of English football in 2012.
After spells with Leeds United, Nottingham Forest and Spanish outfit Jerez in his formative years, the 5ft 6in attacker was signed for the Minstermen in July 2011 by current boss Gary Mills.
Over the course of the following campaign, Moke made a total of 28 appearances in a City shirt and scored three goals as the Minstermen claimed the FA Trophy and promotion to the EFL in the space of eights day in May 2012.
At the end of the campaign the attacker was allowed to depart Bootham Crescent and went on to have spells with Cambridge United, Tamworth and Macclesfield Town during the next three campaigns.
It was during the summer of 2015 that Moke was reunited with Mills for a second time as the 54-year-old recruited the attacker on a one-year deal whilst in charge of Wrexham.
Moke made a total of 32 appearances for the Red Dragons last season as they missed out on a play-off place, before he switched to Boreham Wood this summer and made a total of nine appearances for the club, his last in a 1-0 victory over North Ferriby United on 22nd October.
