York City's fixture list released

York City will visit Chorley on the opening day of the 2018-19 Vanarama National League North season.

The final league game of the season - and the last ever league game at Bootham Crescent - will be against AFC Telford United on Saturday April 27, 2019.

The full list of fixtures for the new season was announced at 1pm today.

After visiting Chorley on the opening day (Sat Aug 4), City will play back-to-back home games against Stockport County (Tue Aug 7) and Alfreton Town (Sat Aug 11).

The highlight of the Christmas and New Year period will be a double-header against manager Martin Gray's former club Darlington on Boxing Day (A) and New Year's Day (H).
