Stuart Parnaby leaves York City

York City have announced that the assistant manager has left the club.

In a statement the club said:

"The club can confirm that Stuart Parnaby has left his role as assistant-manager.

"The club's board would like to thank Stuart for his hard work and professionalism."

It comes as Manager Sam Collins left shortly after Saturday's defeat to Curzon Ashton.

Sporting director Dave Penny will oversee training until a new manager is appointed.
