York City announce pre-season game at South Shields

York City have announced another pre-season friendly.

The Minstermen will visit South Shields on Tuesday July 23, kick-off 7.30pm.

Admission will be £6 adults, £4 students/over-65s, and £2 under-16s.

South Shields finished second in the Evo-Stik Northern League Premier Division last season but were beaten by Warrington Town in the play-offs.

City have previously confirmed pre-season fixtures against Hartlepool United, Scarborough Athletic, Notts County, and Pickering Town.

Pre-season fixtures (confirmed so far)...

Wed July 17: Hartlepool United (H) 7pm

Sat July 20: Scarborough Athletic (H) 1pm

Tue July 23: South Shields (A) 7.30pm

Sat July 27: Notts County (H) 12.30pm

Tue July 30: Pickering Town (A) 7.30pm
