Grand Opera House extended closure
ATG who run the York Grand Opera House have confirmed they have suspended all shows until May 31st.
They will contact customers affected to issue refunds.
Tockwith Show 2020 - Cancelled Sunday 2nd August
The directors of the Tockwith and District Agricultural Show Society have decided to cancel what would have been the society’s 75th Show.
If you have booked a Trade or Catering Stand at the 2020 show then we will be in touch with you.

RCM 4x4, York's Independent Land Rover Specialist open for business
We are still open for business at RCM 4x4, carrying out service and repairs on all Land Rover and Range Rover vehicles, we are asking customers not to enter the building, so to protect the staff, but we have key drops and provisions in place.
We can offer collection and delivery for those who can't get out but we are asking people to be sensible, if you don't need your car, we will see you when this is over, if not we will help where we can

I have also amended my terms and conditions, so that sessions and gift vouchers can be used until July 2021, and this date is subject to change depending on how the situation changes over the course of a year. Facebook Group for Men struggling with Mental health, anxiety or stress
Hi this is a really new group we are not professional psychologists we are just Normal everyday men that very often suffer in silence.
The group is to support each other and not be judged.
I'm afraid because of its very nature the group is men only. However it is not a male only issue or just the people that are ill that need support it is also the partners and in order to cover this aswell a couple of our partners have set up a group called Wad-ass. That group is for women that are sufferers.

Make It York has today announced that Bloom! – York’s festival of horticulture - will not be going ahead this year as a result of the escalating uncertainties surrounding the impact of COVID-19.
