90’s weekend at Flamingo Land featuring The Vengaboys and Boyzlife

26th July – 27th July

The Vengaboys

The Vengaboys, who have sold an estimated 25 million records worldwide, are coming to Flamingo Land on Friday the 26th July to perform some of their hit singles like ‘We Like to Party’, ‘Boom, Boom, Boom’ and ‘We’re Going to Ibiza'.

Boyzlife

Boyzlife, which is the collaboration of Boyzone singer, Keith Duffy, and Westlife star, Brian McFadden, are going to be at Flamingo Land on Saturday 27th July. The two Irish singers will be playing the most well-known songs of the 90’s. With Boyzone’s 21 singles in the Top 40 UK Charts and Westlife’s long list of number 1 singles, you need to be there!

Music Showcase Weekend at York Races featuring Tears for Fears and James Arthur

26th July – 27th July

Tears for Fears

Kicking off York Racecourse’s Music Showcase Weekend, the memorable band, Tears for Fears will be playing music as part of their ‘Rule The World’ 2019 tour on Friday 26th July. Spending 96 weeks in the Top 40, 33 weeks in Top 10 and 7 weeks in UK Top 10, they have lots of songs you can sing and dance to with songs like ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World’, ‘Head Over Heels’ and ‘Shout’.

James Arthur

Winning the 2012 UK X Factor with an original song ’Impossible’, James Arthur really made a name for himself from the very start but has continued to only go up. With his first song going straight to number 1 within the first week of release, he really set the bar high and continued to make chart topping music. On Saturday 27th August you have the chance to see James Arthur singing all the amazing songs he has released in person at York Racecourse. With throwbacks from 2012 to his most recent songs like ‘Nobody’ and ‘Empty Space’, it’s a day you will never forget.

Ronan Keating at Castle Howard

Ronan Keating will be headlining the outdoor concert at Castle Howard on Sunday 4th August! Boasting a lifetime of impressive professional achievements, Ronan’s has had lots of musical success including number one solo albums and achieving multiple sell-out tours. This is a fantastic chance to listen to great live music in the beautiful setting of Castle Howard!

The Feeling at Flamingo Land's Party in the Park

Friday 9th August

The Feeling is coming to Flamingo Land on Friday 9th August for an exciting performance full of throwbacks from 2006 with songs like ‘Fill My World’, ‘Love It When You Call’ and ‘Never Be Lonely’ but also some of their more recent music from 2016.

Adolescent Festival - featuring the UKs leading tribute bands

Saturday 10th August

Adolescent Festival in York is back for 2019! There will be the UK's leading tribute bands on the main stage and great bands performing on the Home Brew Stage. Some acts will include The Oasis Experience, Viva La Coldplay, The Greatest Showman Tribute and more. As well as live music there will also be stalls, bars, attractions and food for you to enjoy on the day!

Scouting for Girls at Thirsk Racecourse

Friday 16th August

Scouting for Girls will be performing at Thirsk Racecourse's first ever racing music event on Friday 16th August. Scouting for Girls are one of the most popular British Pop-Rockers in recent years. They have a string of top-twenty singles including 'Heartbeat', 'Elvis ain't dead', 'She's so lovely' and 'This ain't a love song'. Tickets are now on sale - but be quick as there is limited availability.

Rak-Su at Flamingo Land's Party in the Park

31st August

The 2017 UK X Factor winners, Rak-Su, will be playing music that will really get you on your feet and dancing on Saturday 31st August. With singles spending 11 weeks in the Top 40, 3 weeks in the Top 10 and songs like ‘I Want You to Freak’ and lots more music, it is a performance you do not want to miss!
