Lucky escape for motorist who came off the A64

It was lucky that this driver escaped serious injury after coming off the A64. On closer inspection tthe police found this Smart Car deep in the undergrowth near the Fulford Interchange.
The road was closed for a while so the vehicle could be recovered.
@NyorksRPG (Roads Policing Group) took these pictures after helping the occupant out.
