LISTEN TO JULIA MULLIGAN ON MINSTER FM:
She says it's really disappointing that we have seen scenes of litter and people using public areas as toliets.
She says it's just not on and the police will use the full force of the law to crack down and try and reassure local people.
Other main points from today's Youtube Question and Answer session.
The Assistant Chief Constable of North Yorkshire, Mike Walker, says some of the behaviour he has seen over the weekend has been lewd. He says some visitors really frighten local people.
Experts say the Selby and Ryedale area still hasn't seen a peak in Coronavirus cases. The Chief Executive of North Yorkshire County council, Richard Flinton, says that we need a few more days yet before we can say that we have reached the peak in all parts of the county. Mark Crane. the Leader of Selby District Council, told Minster FM it's even more important that people who think they have Covid-19 symptoms self-isolate.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue says it's having problems with access to incidents. This is because of people parking alongside roads and streets without thinking of leaving room for emergency services.
Police have detected an increase in extremely high speeds during lockdown - double the speed limit in some 30mph communities and up to 133mph on main roads. They're continuing to deploy camera vans to villages and towns to prevent fatalities.
