UPDATE - Gillygate in York reopens after a water main burst

Gillygate in York has reopened on Friday morning following a water main burst.
The emergency began on Wednesday evening, and the road was closed for around 36 hours while repairs were carried out.

Water erupted on to the pavement near Gillygate Guest House and Wackers Fish and Chips, dislodging paving stones and flowed down the street last night.
