Diesel spill in river at Fulford

There has been a diesel spill in Germany Beck and the River Ouse at Fulford in York.
Environment Agency officers are working to contain the pollution and say they will carry out an investigation to identify the source.
In an update today they said:
We're keeping the boom in place for a couple of days to limit any further spread of the diesel spill
