Things we talked about today…

The Minster FM presenters have been challenged by Age UK York. Can they take items from an Age UK and up-cycle it into something worth more than they bought it for? Keep listening to Minster FM to find out how their projects are getting on… and if you like the sound of any of the items, then you could buy it!  Age UK York help over 5000 older people in York with the help from your donations, whether that be money or items in the shop! Laura chose her item today from the Bishy Road shop and she’s gone for some material to make cushions!

Each morning we are giving you the chance to hunt down and win a £50 York Gift Card, these gift cards can be used at multiple places in York including Betty’s, York Theatre Royal and Fenwicks! At 8:55am we will give you a riddle that will help you work out each mornings secret location.... This morning the location was York Dungeon and Toby OJ won the prize!

And Ben has returned from paternity leave this morning! Labour stories in tow, Ben insists that now that he’s seen birth from the ‘business end’ nothing else can scare him… still wouldn’t join Laura at Hallowscream though!
