Beth McCarthy on air

Beth McCarthy came in to play us her new single Shame and announced a headline gig at the De Grey rooms on Nov 23rd.

Ben’s little boy has started praying for chips, chocolate and batman toys, Ben explained that isn’t how it works otherwise Daddy would be taller and Mummy would be Cameron Diaz!

Stat of the day…We spend more time on the loo each week than exercising, a total of 3hrs 9 mins in the loo and less than 80 minutes exercising!

Ed Sheeran in Yorkshire

We announced that Ed Sheeran is coming home to Yorkshire with two gigs at Roundhay Park in August 2019, tickets go on sale next Thursday.

Are you guilt of Lawnmower parenting? Its mowing down all obstacles for your kids so they face no challenges, not making them cut the grass.

Tomorrow James Ford coach of the York City Knights is in the studio from 8.30am ahead of their promotion game on Sunday.

Coffee Morning Tour

We started our Coffee Morning tour at The Skills Network in Selby and went really well, tomorrow we are at Howarth Timber in York.

99 days till Christmas and Pomsies are going to be the big toys for the kids, and they are an interactive pet that the kids could kill!

3,000 people did Baby Shark at Race For Life and Ben dared to play 1 minute of it on air and then bottled it.

We announced that Rod Stewart will be coming to York Racecourse on June 1st and even played Maggie May!

Ben saw Haribo Starmix on sale in a Shell garage in Leicester for 64p!!! Is this offer available at a garage in North Yorkshire?

A smile is the secret to getting a date but can you smile without wrinkling your eyes, it's not easy and can have the effect of scaring people off.

Ben begged for someone to ask for an Oh Yeah that he was back on air, and it only took 3 on air please to get one…good old Elaine in New Earswick.

Ben's little boy went to school today for the first time and Ben cried on air when he got sent a photo of him in his uniform! Do you remember sending your kids off to school?
