Ben's Baby Girl has a name!

Things we talked about today…

The day has finally come. The day that Ben reveals his Baby Girls name! He accidentally revealed it to Laura yesterday so felt the listeners now needed to know… with many guesses from the listeners, he finally revealed: Kara Elizabeth Fry! Elizabeth is his wife’s middle name,

Kara is the name of the Bond girl in Ben’s favourite Bond film The Living Daylights, the name of one of Thor’s Valkyrie in Norse mythology, and the Kryptonian name of Supergirl.. obviously. 

Our current Tonne of Tins Total stands at 2.963 Tonnes and we’re so close to that 3 Tonne Target! The appeal has come to an end but Laura has to go collect one more batch that was collected from Morrisons in Acomb. Fingers crossed we’ll have a grand total tomorrow of over 3 tonne!

Laura was running late this morning as she was ‘dressing her fingers’. Obviously there was a lot of anticipation as to what had happened, and she had sliced her thumb whilst doing the washing up! But this was just before she was due to pick up her Nandos and of course nothing gets in the way of Laura and food so she drove to Monks Cross with her arm in the air wrapped in a tea towel.. the Nandos was cold and she’s vowed never to do the washing up again in case of flashbacks.
