Things we talked about today…
House Band Friday is back, but in a virtual way! We missed it so much we thought why not do it virtually? This morning we spoke to local solo artist Becky Bowe and played her new single Getting Older! You can Listen Again from 8:10am. If you fancy getting involved in virtual house band Fridays, get in touch at studio@minsterfm.com!
Laura had a confession this morning – she forget to clap on Thursday last week! She even set an alarm to remind her but at 5 past 8 realized it hadn’t gone off. She clapped inside for 5 minutes to make up for it and ended up telling her neighbours there was a kitchen emergency so they didn’t think she was a bad person! Oh Dear…
Ben expressed this morning that he had a new crush! Given the current times there are some people that have been thrust in to the spotlight and have become part of our daily news. Ben’s ‘Corona Crush’ is Jacinda Ardern the Prime Minister of New Zealand, Laura’s gone a bit closer to home and likes a bit of Rishi Sunak. Whose yours?
And don’t forget to tune in to the Ten Minute Tea Break on Facebook Live at 11 today! Ben and Laura will be doing the Selby High Frying Pan Challenge!
We are continuing to bring you the latest updates regarding Covid-19 throughout the show, a reminder that we are here for you! Any plugs you need or info to get across, please go to our website and fill out our message board – or just give us a call!
