Things we talked about today…
Well this morning it has all been about Celeb spotting at York Minster for Ellie Goulding’s Wedding over the Weekend! Ben was asked as the Town Crier to meet and greet the guests on the entrance to the wedding and to do a proclamation when the bride herself arrived! Laura Facebook Lived the whole thing too and saw all the celebs. Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Sarah Ferguson, James Blunt, Joe Wicks and Sienna Miller were all in attendance, and now Ben will never stop talking about the time he met Katy Perry! Of course Ellie arrived in a vintage camper van and looked gorgeous.
This morning we are sad to report some unfortunate news about friend of the show Sean Coxhead. Sean was diagnosed with terminal cancer last year and over the weekend Sean sadly lost his battle. Over this last year Sean has raised over £20,000 for Macmillan, e quickly became one of our local heroes at the Local Hero Awards and is an inspiration to many, many people. Minster FM have had the honour of being able to work alongside Sean at many of his events and we are truly in awe of his achievements and the legacy he has left. Sean is now at peace and our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
