Things we talked about today…

Laura has signed up to Say Yes to the Dress UK with Gok Wan! She’s been asked to film a video explaining what sort of dress she would want and who she would bring in her entourage. The trick is to form conflict so that it makes good TV and Laura’s mum has already been saying no to her suggestions! DRESS WARS!

The kids have been back at school this week and Ben has found it hard to get any information out of Nick. We expect the response to the question ‘What did you do at school today?’ has been similar for most parents and guardians – ‘don’t know’. So Ben has done a plea and suggested that the teachers should make the kids write down one thing they did during the day to take it home and avoid the tough act of trying to get info out of the kids!

Spiders are set to invade UK homes during mating season and they’ve already started because Laura found 7 spiders in her bathroom yesterday! Freaking out she decided to check every room and there were more!! She hoovered them up and taped up the end of the hoover so they wouldn’t escape. Apparently the best way to keep them out is drawing chalk lines on your windowsill… sounds crazy but it’s worth a try to keep them out!
