Things we talked about today…
Ben and Laura spoke to the Counsellor of the Micklegate Ward today Pete Kilbane, he explained the fantastic work that the Bishy Road community are putting in to make sure everyone in isolated gets fed proper food. The Pig and Pastry, Skosh and Green Link are all involved and if you want to help them continue their valiant efforts, you can donate to their fundraising here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/supper-collective
This morning we have been asking, how is the Home-schooling going? Ben admitted he was struggling to keep his patience after his son Nick thought that the word ‘our’ was pronounced time. However, it was quickly pointed out that he could of thought it was hour, and therefore connected it to time – the boys a genius!
We’ve also realised that personal grooming is going to be a problem, no haircuts and lots of beards – including Laura’s! She’s let herself go and let her mole hair grow too, it is now so long it has turned grey and spouted friends. Someone get her some wax!
We are continuing our pledge to ‘Make York Smile’ – all you need to do is get a video of yourselves singing and dancing to Shotgun by George Ezra and send it in to the Make York Smile Facebook Page, or the WhatsApp (07493770491) and you can join our singalong video! This morning we spoke again to Stan, the 83 year old who has got involved and sent in a fab video of his singing!
We are continuing to bring you the latest updates regarding Covid-19 throughout the show, a reminder that we are here for you! Any plugs you need or info to get across, please go to our website and fill out our message board – or just give us a call!
