Things we talked about today…
It’s Tattoo Removal Day! So Laura and Ben posted on Facebook to find your tattoo disasters! We had everything from an Ali G tattoo to lips on the neck – but Laura’s dad Roger had the most interesting. At 15 he had Pegasus (flying horse?) tattooed on his arm. Until recently when he started to notice it looked like a My Little Pony with wings, complete with comments from his kid rugby team saying ‘is that a Unicorn?’. He has now had it covered up with the complete opposite – a giant black tree and a cobra! What are your tattoo disasters?
Ben has been caught in a Town Crier fashion Faux par. As he was working hard fitting in lots of Town Crier responsibilities before getting set to host the festival on Saturday, he was spotted doing a shout for Theatre Royals 275th Anniversary – in trainers!! The Town Crier, in blue trainers?! This has caused a uproar from the people of York. Goodness Ben, you need to stop doing all this fab volunteering Town Crier work celebrating the fabulous goings on of York and get some proper shoes!
Friend of the show Sean Coxhead is only £3000 away from his target! Sean was diagnosed with Terminal Cancer and ever since he has made it his misson, along with his wife and his Angels, to raise £20,000 for Macmillan. So far £17,000 has been raised, so lets try get him to his target! Donate at Just Giving: Not Serious, Just Cancer. Or stay tuned to find out what fund-raising ideas we have up our sleeve…
