Twist, Pulse and Laura!

Things we talked about today…

Twist and Pulse off of BGT fame were performing at York Balloon Fiesta this weekend and they were a smash! They even taught Laura a dance move and then jetted off to London to appear on Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions – where they received Alesha’s Golden Buzzer! Laura has taken all of the credit for warming them up of course… The Balloon Fiesta was a massive success in particular the Night Glow, which was spectacular!

It is Ask a Stupid Question Day today so Ben and Laura have been asking for your questions – favourites include: Why does Donald Duck wear a towel after he gets out of the shower but the rest of the time he’s just a naked bottom half duck?, If Oranges are called Oranges, why aren’t Lemons called Yellows? And Ben asked his pregnant wife, Why don’t you tip over? I’ll let you guess what her reaction was…

Ben and Laura were out in Selby doing Greatest Place trying to find the friendliest place in Minster Fm Land! The more flags Laura can get people to wave in 60 seconds, the higher the score. Selby managed 15 which is brilliant! AND no-one denied the flag so they got get the 10 bonus points! 25 Points, this puts them firmly in to 1st place on the table – well done Selby!
