Shop Mobility want your help! The company are based in Coppergate shopping centre/car park and offer mobility scooters and equipment to people in York for accessible shopping! To raise money for some new equipment the team are holding a quiz night at The Parv Inn on the 14th October. Teams of 4-6, raffle prizes to be won too!

A recent survey of 500 British shoppers, conducted by Whitby Seafoods reveals that 80% of people are in the dark about what scampi is made of, further reinforcing the fact that many of us aren’t aware of what is in our seafood products. Laura and Ben admitted they didn’t know what it was exactly, and most people on our Facebook page didn’t know either! Turns out it is Scampi is in fact breaded langoustine, a small crustacean that are members of the lobster family!

It's Roal Dahl Day tomorrow so we have been asking your favourite book, and Laura’s brother Shaun wants to be an aspiring author so its his own! He describes it as an LGBT version of Bridget Jones and says that in the book, the main character has a sister that is in the media and is an actress on shopping channel but acts like shes Mariah Carey! Obviously none of this is taken from real life people…
