The Pavilion is able to accommodate up to 120 reception and evening guests in the Sandy Richardson Suite, with adjacent Fountain Courtyard. The Bridal Suite offers sumptuous and romantic accommodation for the new bride and groom and the other delightful rooms will ensure that up to 120 guests can stay over in luxury too, followed by a hearty, full Yorkshire breakfast!
The beautiful interior and grounds make the perfect backdrop for the photos you'll treasure for a lifetime.

The Amazing Wedding Company at York Maze
About Them
We have hosted many amazing weddings here at York Maze over the last 6 years, each one special and unique reflecting the bride and grooms personality. Set in open countryside close to the city, York Maze is a fantastic rural venue, perfect for the less formal wedding or reception.
Our aim is to give you the wedding you wish for! Our exclusive venue is licensed for civil ceremonies and can seat up to 150 people for the ceremony and dining but many more for the evening function if you wish! When you hire the maze you effectively get a 3 day hire, the day before to set up and the day after to take down any decorations. Guests are welcome to camp on site if they wish too! We can provide any type of catering you want, we do not have prescriptive menus, we would rather give you exactly what you want and work to your budget.
From decorating the site in your own style, to your very own personalised menu, you have the freedom to create your special day as you wish at York Maze! If you have the imagination, we can make it happen!

We believe our venue is unique and special, offering something very different to other typical wedding venues. Our main focus is to ensure couples have the freedom to create their own special day, in their own unique style, from decorations, to a personalised menu. It is an honour and a privilege to be able to be a part of the special day they share with their family & friends.
The team are so committed to each wedding ensuring it's a perfect day for all. Our amazing Wedding Coordinator, Vikki is hands on with the couple throughout the entire process, and our Catering Manager Jason, will help the couple to plan their own menu, ranging from afternoon tea to fine dining! All the dishes are prepared in house using local suppliers wherever possible.
Nothing is too big or small of an ask. We are passionate about weddings and about delivering the perfect day, for each and every special and unique couple!
York Marriott Hotel
About Them
The York Marriott Hotel offers a beautiful setting for both civil ceremonies and wedding receptions, with beautiful, sweeping views across the racecourse and the leafy Knavesmire Parkland, the York Marriott Hotel is the ideal venue to host such a special day.
Our hotel is set within 5 acres of grounds, which has beautifully landscaped Victorian gardens perfect for the drinks reception, to relax in and have photographs taken against an impressive backdrop. To continue the party, guests are directed to our function room with an abundance of natural light and leads out onto our landscaped gardens and decking area.

The National Railway Museum
About Them
The National Railway Museum (NRM) is the world's largest railway museum and houses over a million objects celebrating train travel. The museum is part of the Science Museum Group the world's leading alliance of science museums and is firmly established as one of Yorkshire's most prominent wedding venues, offering a unique destination for weddings by transporting guests back to a luxurious era of European rail travel.
The unique spaces on offer at The National Railway Museum provide a truly special, one-of-a-kind experience for couples who hold their weddings here.
Weddings can be held in Station Hall, which features the museum's famous royal carriages and can accommodate up to 500 for a wedding breakfast or 600 for a wedding reception. Intimate receptions can also be held in the Countess of York, a beautifully restored luxurious Pullman-style carriage which has been converted to host up to 30 people during the day and evening.

Couples are granted use of the Royal antique table and chairs for their wedding ceremony, incorporating their own individual history with the Royals of the past. The wedding party can also enjoy an exclusive tour of the museum to explore the unique collection of artefacts and make use of the stunning photo opportunities, such as the inspiring backdrops of the impressive Chinese locomotive, the world-famous Mallard and the Duchess in the Great Hall.
The individuality of the venue space is also reflected in the bespoke services offered to help create the most memorable, enjoyable day for couples. Each couple benefits from a dedicated wedding co-ordinator to help plan their wedding and make sure every detail is taken care of so that the day runs like clockwork.
The whole events team continually goes above and beyond, and are experts in finding innovative ways to cater for bespoke needs, such as collaborating closely with couples to create bespoke wedding breakfast menus tailored to their individual wishes.
